When I was a little girl, I spent a lot of time at my great grandparents house in a lil place called Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Spending those beautiful days in my grandparents yard, I would always find myself on the fence where the honeysuckles grew. I would pick a flower, smell the sweet earthy aroma, then pull out the honey like nectar that was in the plant for a special treat. My great grandfather was also a person of protection, love & peace for me & he spoiled me ROTTEN. I was his Doodlebug and he was my PopPop Pannniell, so close that I could eat off his plate. He went on to be an ancestor when I was 7 years of age & it devastated me. I remember the way I cried and carried on at his going home services, I was a complete wreck. As I got older and smelled the honeysuckles, the scent always reminded me of him and the way his presence made me feel. The scent always brings a smile to my face & sometimes tears. I later found that spiritually, that’s exactly what honeysuckle represents; love, protection, peace…as well as emotional healing, luck & prosperity. I incorporated these oils with honeysuckles in remembrance of Julius Panniell. My intent is that these oils and the scent properties make you feel loved. Make you feel calm & at peace.
